In the 6th round of the Siedlce District League, Sęp Żelechów faced Jastrząb Żeliszew at home. The game was played in tough conditions – rain and a wet pitch led to plenty of inaccuracies and random plays. Sęp started better, taking the lead in the 5th minute through Mikołaj Głodek. The visitors responded after a mistake by our goalkeeper, and the score was 1:1 at halftime.
After the break, Sęp regained the lead with a penalty converted by Hubert Król, and shortly after, Mikołaj Głodek struck again, completing his brace and extending the lead to 3:1. In the closing minutes, Jastrząb pulled one back, but ultimately it was our team that celebrated a 3:2 win and another three points in the league.
