Goal-scoring debuts in the senior team, breakthrough in away matches

Marcin Sągol

After a prolonged period of lackluster performances and a series of losses by our team in league matches, the situation has started to improve in recent weeks. Apart from the favorable results achieved against Kolektyw Oleśnica and Podlasie II Sokołów Podlaski, it's worth mentioning a few interesting facts related to these events.

In the match of the 11th round, where our team defeated Kolektyw Oleśnica 7:3, Mateusz Bryl made his debut as Sęp's goalkeeper, replacing Patryk Seroczyński in the second half. Mateusz also played the entire match last Sunday against Podlasie II Sokołów Podlaski, keeping a clean sheet once again.
* Update: Mateusz actually made his debut in the match of the 6th round against the ŁDK Łosice team and spent 21 minutes on the pitch then :)

The game against Kolektyw was also significant for our two young players, Hubert Król and Szymon Kryczka. Both players scored their first goals in official senior league matches during that game. We hope they will be able to boast more goals soon.

The away win 0:2 against Podlasie II Sokołów Podlaski was largely possible due to the two goals scored by Kuba Gałkowski. These were his ninth and tenth goals of the season, making him Sęp's top scorer. Kuba is also currently among the top scorers in the entire league.

The match of the 12th round against the Podlasie reserves was the first this season in which our team did not concede a goal. Moreover, it was also the first match we managed to win away from home. Let's hope these statistics will be greatly improved soon :)
