Sęp - Amur Wilga: 3:4 Defeat in the Seventh Friendly Match Before the Spring Round of the 2024/25 Season

Today's match was very inconsistent for our team. There were moments when we played confidently and had the upper hand over our opponent, but frequent mistakes allowed Amur to take control at crucial moments.

The scoring opened in the 16th minute when Dawid Błaszkiewicz capitalized on a defensive error and beat Dominik Kowalski. Ten minutes later, Szymon Kryczka equalized after a well-placed pass from Hubert Król. The score remained 1:1 at halftime.

At the beginning of the second half, another defensive mispositioning allowed Kacper Winek to score the second goal for the visitors. After that, both teams struggled to convert their chances, despite multiple opportunities.

In the 83rd minute, one of our players was fouled inside Amur’s penalty area. Kuba Gałkowski stepped up for the penalty and confidently leveled the game at 2:2. Just two minutes later, however, Antoni Kęsik put Amur back in the lead with a goal for 2:3. Immediately after the restart, our team responded with a quick attack, finished by Szymon Kryczka to make it 3:3. Unfortunately, the final word belonged to the visitors, as Maksymilian Napora scored in the 88th minute to secure a 3:4 victory for Amur.
