Preview of the 8th round of matches in the Siedlce district league for the 2023/24 season

Not so long ago, we inaugurated a new football season in the Siedlce district league, and we've already reached the halfway point of the autumn round. This upcoming weekend, marking the transition between September and October, we'll be following the teams' battles during the 8th matchday. One of the more intriguing matches should be Saturday's clash between ULKS Gołąbek and Wektra Zbuczyn.

Our team will be traveling for an away, derby match against Promnik Gończyce on Sunday. This match is extremely important for both squads. Sęp currently sits at the bottom, 16th place in the league with just 1 point to its name. Promnik, on the other hand, has gathered 5 points and is in the 15th position. Both teams, therefore, need the points to try to bounce back from the lower zone of the table in the coming weeks. Coach Tomasz Gugała, in his statement for sportgarwolin.pl, emphasized that it won't be an easy match: "For both teams, it's a do-or-die game. I've seen Promnik play in several matches; they are really a good team. It definitely won't be easy." It's worth noting that Gończyce's team will be led by their new coach Marcin Żak, who replaced Jakub Kapczyński. The match is set to start at 4:00 PM, and it will be officiated by the referee trio consisting of Daniel Miler, Marcin Protasewicz, and Jakub Biarda.
