Preview of the 2nd Round of the Siedlce District League 2024/25 Season

Today, the first match of the just-begun 2nd round of the Siedlce District League was played. At 11:00 AM, Wektra Zbuczyn and Orzeł Unin faced off, and their clash ended in a 1-1 draw, resulting in a point shared by both teams. The remaining matches will be played this coming Saturday and Sunday.

On Saturday, Sęp will travel to Łosice to face the ŁDK team. Our opponent has started the current season well. Last weekend, coach Arkadiusz Okniński's players defeated Naprzód Skórzec, a team relegated from the 5th league, with a score of 3-0. In the District Polish Cup, they first managed a 3-2 win over Wicher Sadowne in the first round, followed by a 2-0 victory over GKS Andrzejewo in the second round, earning them a spot in the next stage of the competition. The team from Łosice will be a very challenging opponent, but as coach Piotr Szymański emphasized, "we will try to perform much better than we did against Płomień." The match will be played on Sunday at 5:00 PM, officiated by referees Dariusz Adaśko, Hubert Rutkowski, and Stanisław Witkowski.
