Matchday 18 Preview – Siedlce Regional League, 2024/25 Season

Marcin Sągol

Matchday 18, scheduled for this coming weekend, brings an exciting clash at the top of the table. On Sunday at 11:00 AM, league leaders Mazovia II Mińsk Mazowiecki will host second-placed ULKS Gołąbek. Although Gołąbek trails the leaders by eight points and cannot take over first place regardless of the result, it's a great opportunity to reduce the gap to the team from Mińsk Mazowiecki.

Our team remains without a point after the first two spring fixtures. Last weekend, we came close to earning at least a draw in the match against ŁDK Łosice, but unfortunately, it didn’t happen.

The next chance to "break the streak" comes on Sunday, when we travel to face MKS Małkinia. Our upcoming opponent currently sits 14th in the table with 6 points. However, it's worth noting that they’ve started the spring campaign quite well—drawing 0–0 with ULKS Gołąbek and then beating Naprzód Skórzec 1–0. Let’s hope that despite the long journey and relatively early kickoff (12:00 PM), our players will perform well and that we’ll soon be celebrating our first points of the spring round.

Sunday’s match will be officiated by referees Daniel Miler, Grzegorz Męczyński, and Łukasz Siłka.
