Fenix Siennica - Sęp: away defeat 1-2, hosts play the last quarter of the game with one player less
In today's match, the slightly better team were the footballers from Siennica, which was visible on the pitch and was eventually documented by the goals scored. Firstly, in the 30th minute, Rafał Słowik took advantage of a mistake by Sebastian Szewczak when taking a throw-in, took the ball and shot it just beside the near post, giving Fenix a 1-0 lead. In the 62nd minute, the hosts scored their second goal. Initially, the referee Paweł Wasiluk awarded a penalty kick to the home team, but this decision was revoked and changed to a free kick. Kacper Piętka accurately hit the ball into the penalty area from the set piece, and it was already 2-0. Sęp managed to respond one minute later with a very nice goal from Paweł Mazurek from outside the penalty area (the ball flew into the "window" of the goal). With less than 15 minutes left in regular playing time, representing Fenix, Marcin Sokołowski received his second yellow card and as a result had to leave the pitch. Despite the advantage of one player, Sęp was unable to make up for the loss and thus had to accept their first defeat in the spring round.
It's worth adding that Paweł Mazurk's goal was his first in the current season. We wish him more goals :)
