Sęp - Kolektyw Oleśnica: a crazy first half, debuts in Sęp, a 7:3 victory ensuring a move up in the table
Going into the match against Kolektyw, Sęp was without two key players, namely Paweł Mazurek and the team's top scorer, Kuba Gałkowski. From the very beginning, it was evident that the Żelechów players were somewhat nervous in defense, allowing their opponents to create more or less dangerous shooting opportunities.
The first accurate goal came in the 18th minute. Patryk Seroczyński came out of the penalty area to clear a ball aimed at Kamil Stanisławowski. However, he didn't make clean contact. Stanisławowski managed to control the ball and soon after, sent a high lob into Sęp's goal, giving the visitors a one-goal lead. By the 28th minute, the score was 1:1 after Hubert Król capitalized on an uncertain intervention by Daniel Kiełczykowski, pushing the ball into the Oleśnica net from the five-meter line.
The subsequent minutes saw an exchange of blows. In the 30th minute, Michał Licbarski took advantage of Stodulski's pass and put Sęp ahead 2:1. Three minutes later, an individual marking mistake by Adrian Korgul allowed Kamil Komar to direct a cross into the net with his chest right in front of Seroczyński's goal, leveling the score at 2:2. In the 39th minute, Albert Stodulski showcased his skills with a solo effort in Kolektyw's penalty area and an accurate shot from the right, again putting Sęp in the lead, this time 3:2. In the 43rd minute, Michał Jaworski made a run down the left wing. The Żelechów captain sent a low cross into the box, where a well-positioned Szymon Kowalski easily took a shot, making it 4:2. However, the last word in this half of the match belonged to the visitors, specifically to Adian Pilich, who in added time capitalized on Marcin Pilich's cross, striking the ball first time from eleven meters out, once again placing the ball in Seroczyński's net to reduce the deficit to a single goal (4:3).

After the break, Sęp played with much more confidence, and it quickly translated into a more favorable score. In the 48th and 66th minutes, Damian Grzyb added his name to the scoresheet, twice intelligently positioning himself in Kolektyw's penalty area and successfully finishing off his team's efforts. The final score of the match, 7:3, was set in the 79th minute by Szymon Kryczka.
It's worth noting that in the 46th minute, Mateusz Bryl made his debut for Sęp's senior team, replacing Patryk Seroczyński in goal. That day, both Hubert Król and Szymon Kryczka scored their debut goals for the first team. We had also been waiting for Albert Stodulski to score his first goal of the current season, and he managed to achieve this in the match against Kolektyw. Thanks to the victory, Sęp, after several weeks of being at the bottom of the table, managed to move up by one position.
