Sęp - Zryw Sobolew: Derby a Typical Battle, 2 Goals in 90 Seconds

Today's match was certainly not a great spectacle. We saw a lot of midfield battles, and goal-scoring opportunities were scarce. Zryw was focused on medium pressing and attempts to cross the ball into our team's penalty area, looking for a chance to score in the confusion near Mateusz Bryl's goal. Sęp, in turn, tried to play combinational football and surprise the opponent with long-distance shots.

The first half ended in a goalless draw. The fate of the match was decided in the second half within just about 90 seconds. The guests scored the first goal. Positioned on the right wing, Michał Kazimierak decided to cross the ball to the far post, where Jakub Szwed was running in and soon directed the ball into Bryl's goal with a header. However, Zryw's lead did not last long. Shortly after the game restarted from the midfield, the ball reached Kuba Gałkowski, positioned in front of the guests' "box". Taking advantage of the opponents' mistake, he entered the penalty area and with a precise shot close to the right post, equalized the score.

Each side had one more excellent opportunity to score in the match. A player from Sobolew, however, shot over from close range, and after a very powerful shot by Szymon Słyk, the ball hit the crossbar of Zryw's goal.

Ultimately, the second derby of the year involving our team ended in a 1:1 draw and a point split with Zryw Sobolew.
