Kolektyw Oleśnica - Sęp: Thriller with a Happy Ending, 3:4 Win Thanks to Stodulski's Goal

If anyone thought that our last match, which ended in a 3:3 draw with Czarni Węgrów, delivered a high dose of emotions, today's game against Kolektyw would certainly have changed their opinion.

We started the away match against Kolektyw very well. In the 12th minute, Albert Stodulski gave us a one-goal lead, and in the 26th minute, Michał Licbarski increased it to 2:0 by lobbing the goalkeeper after outplaying two opponents. Unfortunately, 4 minutes later, after a mistake in the midfield, we allowed Oleśnica to score a contact goal. When it seemed that the first half would end with a score of 1:2, Kolektyw managed to equalize in added time, and both teams went to the locker room with a score of 2:2.

The beginning of the second half did not bring a change in the result until the 75th minute, when the hosts scored a third goal and took the lead 3:2. Time was running out, and Sęp was unable to make up the deficit. The breakthrough came in the very end of the match. First, in the 85th minute, Hubert Król scored a beautiful long-range shot, bringing the score to 3:3. In the last minute of regular time, the ball was played to Albert Stodulski, positioned 14 meters from the hosts' goal. Our striker controlled the ball, aimed, and with a low shot just inside the right post, put it into the net. With a last-minute effort, we managed to score a goal that gave us a 3:4 lead.

Four minutes were added to the regular time, during which we had the opportunity to extend our lead. Kuba Gałkowski found himself one-on-one with the advancing goalkeeper, but was fouled, resulting in the Kolektyw goalkeeper receiving a red card. Ultimately, after a game full of twists and turns, we managed to win 3:4 and secure a full set of points.
