Sęp - Podlasie II Sokołów Podlaski: A 3:4 Loss After Another Inconsistent Match
The match began with a few minutes' delay due to heavy rainfall. When it finally started, it had to be interrupted again as the rain intensified. Eventually, the match commenced with nearly a half-hour delay from the original schedule.
Large puddles on the pitch made play difficult and somewhat haphazard, especially in the first half. Nevertheless, Sęp started very well. In the 10th minute, Szymon Kryczka capitalized on the chaos in Podlasie's penalty area and, after receiving a pass from Sebastian Wdowiak, confidently scored from five meters out, giving us the lead. Less than ten minutes later, it was already 2-0 when Albert Stodulski's precise through pass found Michał Licbarski in the visitors' penalty area, who then found himself in a clear position to score. Unfortunately, the players from Sokołów Podlaski quickly reduced the deficit to one goal. In the 21st minute, Michał Piotrowski muscled past Szymon Słyk just outside the penalty area and decided to take a shot from distance. Mateusz Bryl attempted to save it, but the ball hit the post and ended up in the net. The 2-1 scoreline remained until the end of the first half.
Licbarski Michał 19'

53' Rytel Cezary
63' Mikołajczuk Jakub
88' Pawelec Karol
After the break, our team unfortunately made several mistakes that cost us the lead.
In the 53rd minute, the visitors took a free kick. Cezary Rytel opted for a low, direct shot. What seemed like an innocuous attempt appeared savable by Bryl, but he couldn't cleanly catch the ball, and it ended up in the net. The score was now tied at 2-2. In the 63rd minute, following an attack by Podlasie, Adrian Korgul tried to clear the ball from the goal area but did so inaccurately, and it landed at Jakub Mikołajczuk's feet, who took a shot from ten meters out. Mateusz Bryl, obscured by two teammates, couldn't react quickly enough, and the visitors took a 3-2 lead.
We managed to equalize less than 180 seconds later. After a corner kick, the ball reached Bartek Wdowiak on the left side of the pitch. He decided to lob it high into the opponent's penalty area. There was a bit of luck involved as the ball sailed over Suchożebrski's head and ended up in the net. A few minutes later, Sęp almost regained the lead. Unfortunately, after Michał Licbarski's shot, the ball hit only the post.
Ultimately, the fate of the entire match was decided in the 88th minute when the players from Sokołów Podlaski managed to launch a quick counterattack, ending with a through pass to Karol Pawelec, who broke away from the defenders and scored the decisive goal, sealing the 3-4 result.
