Sęp – Podlasie II Sokołów Podlaski: 1:2 Defeat After a Lackluster Match, Licbarski Score

The match against Podlasie II wasn’t particularly exciting. There were few scoring opportunities on either side, with the visitors appearing slightly more active and more effective on the counterattack. The first goal came in the 25th minute — the team from Sokołów Podlaski launched an attack down the right wing, which ended with a shot hitting the post. Piotr Leszczyński, however, capitalized on the rebound with a clinical finish to make it 0:1.
In the 33rd minute, what seemed like a harmless action from the left flank ended with Daniel Zieliński breaking into the box and chipping the ball over Dominik Kowalski, placing it just under the crossbar to extend the lead. Sęp failed to respond effectively before halftime, which ended with the score at 0:2.

Sęp’s play improved somewhat in the second half, but apart from a beautiful long-range strike from 18 meters by Michał Licbarski, which brought the score to 1:2 in the 81st minute, we were unable to seriously threaten Suchożebrski’s goal. In the end, after a somewhat dull performance, we had to accept a 1:2 defeat.
