Mazovia II Mińsk Mazowiecki – Sęp: Down to 10 Men from the 10th Minute and a 1:8 Defeat

Friday’s match might have turned out differently if not for the incident in the 10th minute, when Paweł Mazurek illegally stopped Aleksander Dzięcielski, who was heading for a one-on-one situation with our goalkeeper, Dominik Kowalski. Referee Paweł Wrochna had no doubts and issued a red card to our defender.
In the 20th minute, we conceded the first goal, scored by Jan Proczek. Although we managed to equalize shortly afterward thanks to a goal from Szymon Słyk, the hosts quickly responded. With goals from Aleksander Dzięcielski and Adrian Wielgolaski, the score became 3:1, which remained unchanged until halftime.
Dzięcielski Aleksander 36'
Wielgolaski Adrian 38'
Jędruchniewicz Mikołaj 53'
Mikołajczuk Jakub 59'
Jurczak Oliwier 64'
Proczek Jan 82'
Jędruchniewicz Mikołaj 84'
The second half began with Mazovia II enjoying both a goal and a man advantage. Coach Marcin Klukowski started to rotate his squad early on. Playing a man down — especially against the strongest team in the league — proved to be extremely challenging. Unfortunately, as the minutes passed, Sęp conceded more goals. In the end, the team from Mińsk Mazowiecki found the net five more times, beating our goalkeeper Mateusz Bryl, who replaced Dominik Kowalski at halftime.
The scorers included two goals from Mikołaj Jędruchniewicz, along with goals from Jakub Mikołajczuk, Oliwier Jurczak, and Jan Proczek.
