Sęp – Fenix Siennica: Licbarski's Goal Secures a 1:0 Victory

The first half of the match did not bring many goal-scoring opportunities. Both Sęp and Fenix tried to play offensively, but they struggled to create clear chances, and the few that did arise usually ended with inaccurate shots. The key moment of the match came in the 28th minute. After a corner kick delivered by Mikołaj Głodek, Michał Licbarski charged in and sent the ball into the visitors’ net, putting Sęp ahead 1:0.

In the second half, Sęp focused on smart defending, gradually conceding more possession to the opponents, although it didn’t translate into many dangerous chances for Fenix. The visitors mounted serious pressure only in the final minutes, pushing hard to find an equalizer. There were a few tense moments in front of our goal, but ultimately, we managed to repel Fenix’s attacks. Special mention goes to Mateusz Bryl, who produced an excellent save to stop a dangerous shot that was heading on target.

Today’s match was not particularly thrilling. The battle was mostly fought in midfield, with both teams showing a fair amount of inaccuracy and committing numerous fouls, leading to frequent interruptions by the referee. Nevertheless, Sęp deserves praise for a solid defensive performance, making this the first match of the spring round in which we kept a clean sheet.
