Hutnik Huta Czechy - Sęp: we come from behind in the second half to win 4:2

Despite Hutnik sitting at the bottom of the league table, this derby match was far from an easy one. Sęp had the upper hand for the first 30 minutes of the game. In the 16th minute, we took the lead when a home player handled the ball inside the penalty area – the referee awarded a spot kick, which was calmly converted by Hubert Król. We also managed to find the net again shortly after, but the goal was disallowed for offside against Maksymilian Dębowski. In the final stages of the first half, Hutnik gained momentum and equalized just before the break. Taking advantage of Sęp’s passive defending, Robert Puchalski controlled a corner cross and sent the ball past our goalkeeper, Dominik Kowalski, to make it 1–1

After the break, the hosts dropped deeper into defense, while Sęp struggled to create clear scoring chances. Worse still, in the 55th minute, we lost possession in midfield, allowing Hutnik to launch a quick counterattack that was finished off by Aditya Uttam More, putting the home team ahead 2–1. Sęp reacted immediately – just three minutes later, a precise cross from Szymon Słyk was converted by Maksymilian Dębowski, who leveled the score at 2–2 with a confident strike from close range. Hutnik then focused mainly on defense, occasionally threatening with dangerous counters. Sęp kept pressing near the opposition’s box but couldn’t break through their compact defensive line. The breakthrough came in the 72nd minute when Mikołaj Głodek controlled the ball inside the penalty area and fired a precise shot to give us the lead. In stoppage time, Głodek sealed the victory, finishing off a well-executed counterattack to make it 4–2.
With these two goals, Mikołaj Głodek caught up with our team’s top scorer, Maksymilian Dębowski – both players now have 8 goals this season.
It wasn’t an easy match, but the final 4–2 win is certainly satisfying. Slowly returning to the squad are players recently recovering from injuries, such as Michał Licbarski, and we may soon see Szymon Kryczka back on the pitch as well.
