The oldboys team finished second twice in October tournaments held in Ryki and Jeleniec

Last month, our oldboys team participated in two tournaments held successively in Ryki and Jeleńc. Both performances were successful, and in each of them, Sęp took second place. Additionally, Grzegorz Pożarowczyk won the best player trophy at the Jeleńc tournament.

In the oldboys tournament in Ryki, which took place on October 15, 2022, a total of 6 teams participated: Ryki, Żelechów, Trojanów, Wojcieszków, Adamów, and Jeleniec. The matches were played on a round-robin format. Sęp won 2 matches and drew 3.

The top three of the tournament were:

  1. Ryki,
  2. Żelechów
  3. Trojanów

Sęp's squad consisted of: Grzegorz Matuszewski (goalkeeper), Henryk Lewoszewski, Piotr Jończyk, Daniel Bryl, Piotr Mądry, Sebastian Deres, Szymon Grudzień, Marcin Jaśkiewicz, Marek Bożek, Karol Matuszewski.

In the oldboys tournament in Jeleniec, which took place on October 22, 2022, a total of 8 teams participated: Ryki, Żelechów, Stanin, Wojcieszków, Adamów, Krzywda, Jeleniec I, and Jeleniec II. The matches were played on a round-robin format. Sęp won 3 matches, drew 2, and lost 1.  

The top three of the tournament were:

  1. Stanin
  2. Żelechów
  3. Wojcieszków

Sęp's squad consisted of:Grzegorz Gardziński (bramkarz), Henryk Lewoszewski, Piotr Jończyk, Daniel Bryl, Sebastian Deres, Marek Bożek, Karol Matuszewski i Grzegorz Pożarowczyk (zdobył statuetkę najlepszego piłkarza turnieju). 

The trophies were handed over to the President of the "Sęp" Sports Club before the match against MKS Małkinia.
