Jastrząb Żeliszew - Sęp: we win 3:0 in the 1st round of the Polish District Cup 2023/34
Our team performed solidly today, despite playing away and just a day after a friendly match with the Ar-Tig Huta Dąbrowa team. In the opening minutes, the hosts created a good scoring opportunity, but Patryk Seroczyński confidently intervened in our goal. Shortly after, our players squandered an excellent chance under Jastrzęb's goal. However, in the 21st minute, Szymon Słyk confidently struck from a sharp angle, giving us a 1:0 lead.
The beginning of the second half belonged to the hosts, but as time went on, Sęp began to assert themselves once more. In the 82nd minute, following a counterattack, the ball found Damian Grzyb, who shot it right next to the post with his right foot, extending our lead to 2:0. The final 3:0 score was established in the 87th minute by Szymon Kowalski, whose initial shot was saved by the Żeliszew goalkeeper, but he was helpless against the follow-up.
