Summary of the 16th round of matches in the Siedlce District League for the 2022/23 season

Last weekend, the spring round of the 2022/23 football season in the Siedlce District League was inaugurated. Due to the poor condition of the pitch, one of the scheduled matches, specifically the one between Wektra Zbuczyn and Czarne Węgrów, did not take place. The remaining seven matches were played without major problems.

In the first official match this year, the table leader Orzeł Unin dropped points, drawing 0-0 with the much lower-ranked team MKS Małkinia. Another big surprise was the victory of the second-to-last team from the previous round, Wilga Miastków Kościelny, who beat fourth-placed ULKS Gołąbek 3-2 on their home ground. The hosts scored their first goal in the first minute, with Jakub Biedrzycki being the author. The same player secured Wilga's victory by scoring his second goal in the 88th minute, when the result was tied 2-2.
