Last Wednesday, Orzeł, as the host in the derby of the Garwolin county, took on the team from Wilga Miastków Kościelny. The fate of the match was decided in the first half, which the proteges of coach Janusz Kowalski finished with a three-goal lead. In the second part of the match, both teams added one goal each, with Krystian Parzyszek proving to be the most effective player on the pitch, completing a hat-trick. Thanks to the victory, Orzeł is the first team this season to accumulate 50 points on their account.
In the fight for the league championship, Watra Mrozy still counts, which also ended its Wednesday match with a victory. The team coached by Jaromir Kostrzewa defeated Jastrzębie Żeliszew, who had been performing well recently, winning 2:0 on their home ground. The win for the Mrozy team was secured by Karol Krzyżanowski and Piotr Kowalczyk. Watra is currently only 2 points behind the leader.
