Summary of the 29th round of matches in the Siedlce District League for the 2022/23 season

Marcin Sągol

The predictions have come true, and with the 29th round of matches, we have determined who will be the league champion in the current season. After Orzeł Unin's 0:1 loss to Czarni Węgrów, the former lost the chance to fight for first place in the table, and thus the Watra Mrozy team was already certain that, regardless of the result in their match against Wektra Zbuczyn, they would be the champions of the Siedlce district league in the 2022/23 season.

In addition to knowing who became the district league champion in the 2022/23 season, we also know that our local rival from the Garwolin county, the Wilga Miastków Kościelny team, will say goodbye to the "district" league. The Miastków side did manage to win 2:1 last weekend against Zryw Sobolew, thanks to goals from Jakub Biedrzycki and Piotr Domański. However, poor performance throughout the entire season means that the players from Miastków Kościelny will finish the competition in last place in the table and will be relegated to the A class.
