Summary of the 30th round of matches in the Siedlce District League for the 2022/23 season
Both Kosovia's and Kolektyw's players were facing tough battles. The former were playing away against Wektra Zbuczyn, while the latter, although on their own field, were facing the much higher rated Sęp Żelechów.
The team from Kosów Lacki was in a bad situation already after the first half, having lost two goals and the perspective of making up the losses and earning points was rather unlikely. And so it happened. Wektra, thanks to Jakub Bobryk, added a third goal and sealed their victory.
Much more happened in the match between Kolektyw and Sęp. As expected, Sęp took the lead when Szymon Kowalski scored in the 18th minute. However, the hosts managed to equalize after a goal by Mariusz Szostak. Two minutes before the end of the first half, Sęp was again in the lead, with Kuba Gałkowski making the scorers' list. However, the team from Oleśnica responded immediately, specifically Karol Komar, and the score was 2:2 at half time. After the break, Kolektyw managed to take a 3:2 lead when Paweł Rogala scored, but this situation only lasted a few minutes because Kuba Gałkowski's second goal of the match resulted in a tie again, this time 3:3.
The outcomes of these two matches meant that Kolektyw Oleśnica managed to stay in the district league, while Kosovia Kosów Lacki will be competing in the A-Class from next season.
