Summary of the 1st round of matches of the Siedlce district league for the 2023/24 season

The match against Pogoń II was a test for Orzeł to see how the team would perform after the summer personnel changes that took place within its ranks. Unfortunately, in their first league match, Janusz Kowalski's charges did not perform well. The first half of the match did not indicate a rout, ending with only a two-goal deficit against the team relegated from the V league, for whom Paweł Łydkowski and Dawid Jastrzębski scored. However, after halftime, the visitors showed no mercy to the team from Unin and scored 4 goals in just 12 minutes, with goals coming in order from Kamil Dmowski, Bartosz Mlonek, Patryk Rojek, and Adam Lewkowski. In the 82nd minute, Orzeł managed to score a consolation goal thanks to Kamil Kasprzak, but the last word still belonged to the Siedlce team, specifically to Kuba Prachnio, who set the final match score at 1:7 in the 90th minute.
