Summary of the 4th round of matches in the Siedlce district league for the 2023/24 season
After a slow start to the season and two consecutive losses to Pogoń II Siedlce and Promnik Gończyce, Uniński Orzeł's players seem to be getting back on track. In the third round of matches, they secured a modest but valuable 1-0 victory over Jastrzębie Żeliszew, and in the past weekend, they confidently defeated Czarni Węgrów 4-0. The hero of the Orzeł in this match was Piotr Poszytek, who scored a total of 3 goals, opening the scoring in the third minute. Coach Janusz Kowalski's proteges are surely pleased with the result, but it's worth noting that Czarni had a very depleted lineup (with only one player on the bench), and their starting eleven played the full 90 minutes. Next weekend, Orzeł faces an away match against Kolektyw Oleśnica.
