Summary of the 6th round of the Siedlce district league for the 2023/24 season

After all the matches of the 6th round were played, there were several reshuffles in the league table, mainly in its middle zone. The Pogoń II Siedlce team remains unchanged at the top, and unfortunately, Sęp Żelechów continues to hold the last place, currently being the only team without a victory.

The past weekend was definitely not successful for most of the teams from the Garwolin district competing in the Siedlce district league. On Saturday, Sęp lost 1:4 to ŁDK Łosice, and the Hutnik Huta Czechy team, competing at the same time, was crushed away with a score of 1:7 by ULKS Gołąbek. The next day, Zryw Sobolew and Promnik Gończyce performed a bit better, but not enough to secure any points. Sobolew was close to drawing with Fenix Siennica, but coach Marcin Cieśla's charges conceded a goal in the 84th minute by Kacper Piętka, settling for a loss. Promnik ended the first half of their match against MKS Małkinia trailing 0:1, but in the 50th minute, thanks to a precise shot from Bartek Zackiewicz, they managed to equalize. Unfortunately, 7 minutes later, Mateusz Puścian scored the second goal for the visitors, which turned out to be the match-winner.

Orzeł Unin saved the honor of the teams from our district by convincingly defeating the reserves of Podlasie Sokołów Podlaski 5:0 at home. All goals in this match were scored in the second half, with Sebastian Nowak recording two of them.
