Summary of the 8th round of the Siedlce district league for the 2023/24 season

In what was perhaps the most intriguing match of the past weekend, teams from Gołąbek and Zbuczyn clashed, representing the top of the league table. At the end of the first half, Wektra was leading by a single goal scored by Jakub Bobryk. The second half was decidedly more thrilling. Not only did the visitors net an additional four goals, but it's worth noting that Gołąbek had to play the last 10 minutes of the match significantly understaffed after Roman Bilinskyi received a red card in the 71st minute followed by Jakub Ejsymont in the 81st. Thanks to the victory, Wektra solidified its position in second place in the table, while Gołąbek dropped to fifth.
