Summary of the 29th Round of the Siedlce District League Season 2023/24

We have completed the penultimate round of the current season, and we know almost all the outcomes, except for the most important one. Only the 30th round will decide which team will win the league title and secure direct promotion to a higher division, and which will fight in the playoffs for that promotion. Competing for the title are Pogoń II Siedlce and Wektra Zbuczyn.

The team of Wektra Zbuczyn, fighting for the league championship, faced the already relegated team of Kolektyw Oleśnica on Friday evening. The hosts needed a victory and quickly set out to achieve this goal. The match's score was opened at 1-0 in the 12th minute by Paweł Klewek, after which Jakub Bobryk started his scoring spree. The player from Zbuczyn's team scored 3 goals in the first half, to which the opponents could only respond once, with Michał Lewandowski scoring in the 24th minute.

After the break, the hosts quickly increased their lead to 5-1 with Miłosz Lubelski's goal in the 55th minute. Bobryk was not done scoring and added another 3 goals in this half, bringing his total for the match to 6! Wektra ultimately won 9-2, and the fate of the league championship will be decided in the final round. The key will be the results of the matches involving Wektra Zbuczyn and Pogoń II Siedlce.
