Summary of the 2nd Round of the Siedlce District League 2024/25 Season
Last weekend, Zryw faced a team relegated from the 5th league, Watra Mrozy. Watra had started the autumn season with a 1-5 away loss to ULKS Gołąbek. This time, they had the advantage of playing at home and were up against a somewhat lower-ranked opponent in Zryw.
The match started disastrously for Watra. In the very first minute, Przemysław Komar put Zryw in the lead. The hosts quickly regrouped and within ten minutes, starting from the 18th minute, they managed to score 3 goals, giving them a 3-1 lead. However, they couldn’t hold onto this advantage until the end of the first half, as in added time, Michał Kazimierak scored to bring the score to 3-2.
What happened at the beginning of the second half will certainly be remembered by Watra for a long time. Zryw was even more effective than their opponent and in just 6 minutes, they scored 4 goals, turning the 3-2 scoreline into a sudden 3-6! Seweryn Tomaszek sealed the impressive victory in the 84th minute, setting the final score at 3-7. This meant that Watra had to accept their second loss of the season, with a current goal difference of 4:12.
