Paweł Mazurek

From August 19th to August 24th, 2024, a tourism and education camp with elements of addiction prevention was organized. The majority of the participants were children from the Sęp Żelechów Club.

The program included educational activities focused on addiction prevention, social adjustment, safety rules, and how to act in various circumstances. The organizer and leader of the camp was coach Paweł Mazurek. The educational sessions were conducted by Ms. Monika Dziubak and Ms. Julia Michalczyk.

The children were accommodated at the "Grynwald" resort in Rembów (Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship). During the camp, they had the opportunity to visit places such as Raj Cave, Krzyżtopór Castle, and Zbójecka Cave. They also climbed the highest peak of the Świętokrzyskie Mountains, Łysica (614 m above sea level). Additionally, they attended a match between Korona II Kielce and Wisła II Kraków. Marek Parzyszek, originally from Żelechów, once played for the Kielce club.

The remaining time was filled with games and activities at the resort, as well as trips to a nearby swimming area in Golejów. The children received gifts in the form of mini basketballs. They returned fully satisfied and are eagerly looking forward to future trips.

The organizer, along with the parents, extends heartfelt thanks to Mayor Krystyna Wieczorkiewicz and the Commission for Solving Alcohol-Related Problems for their financial support in organizing the camp.
