Summary of Matchday 22 in the Siedlce District League – 2024/25 Season

The leader of the competition for many weeks and months remains Mazovia II Mińsk Mazowiecki. In the previous round, Mazovia II had a small slip-up, drawing 3:3 with Płomień Dębe Wielkie, and they came very close to dropping points again last weekend.
Mazovia II hosted the well-performing ŁDK Łosice at their home ground. The match initially went according to the hosts’ plan - by the 38th minute they were already leading 2:0, with goals from Hubert Kobus and Jan Proczek. Łosice managed to pull one back in the second minute of first-half stoppage time, with Paweł Sawtyruk finding the net.
In the second half, Łosice equalized - in the 70th minute, Dominik Jaszczuk scored to make it 2:2. The visitors certainly benefited from having a man advantage starting from the 65th minute, after Patryk Gruszczyński was shown a second yellow card and subsequently a red card. ŁDK Łosice might have held on for the draw if not for a similar situation in the 80th minute, when Daniel Starosielski was also sent off after receiving a second yellow card. With the teams back on even terms, the decisive moments of the match were still ahead.
In the 90th minute, Daniel Smuga scored to give Mazovia II a 3:2 lead, and he sealed the victory with another goal in the third minute of stoppage time, making it 4:2. Thanks to this win, Mazovia II Mińsk Mazowiecki now has 60 points, holding an eleven-point lead over second-placed Wektra Zbuczyn.
