Summary of Matchday 1 of the Siedlce District League – 2025/26 Season

One of the biggest surprises in the opening round came from Naprzód Skórzec, who delighted their fans. The team, which last season fought to avoid relegation and ultimately finished second from bottom in the table, started the current campaign with a 4-2 win over Płomień Dębe Wielkie. Goals were a long time coming in this match – the first was scored only in the 62nd minute when Sylwester Buga found the back of the net for the hosts. Five minutes later, Kacper Borkowski doubled Naprzód’s lead, and just four minutes after that it was already 3-0, with Buga scoring his second of the day.
Płomień got their first goal in the 81st minute through Sebastian Woś, but it did little to change the course of the game, as just before the end of regular time, Norbert Grzymała netted Naprzód’s fourth. In stoppage time, Woś managed to beat the home goalkeeper Paweł Krawczyk once more, but that was all Płomień could muster that day – and Naprzód could celebrate a 4-2 victory.
