Autumn Round Summary of the 2025/26 Season (Goal Statistics)

Marcin Sągol

A few weeks ago, our team completed the autumn round of the 2025/26 football season, and it must be said that they performed solidly. Very good performances were, however, mixed with less successful ones, which ultimately means that the team will spend the winter break in 9th place in the table with 21 points.

One of the most successful seasons in recent years for us was the period when Sęp last competed in the A-class. In the 2020/21 season, we won the league championship and earned promotion to the Siedlce regional league (“okręgówka”). It was also then that Albert Stodulski set an impressive scoring record, netting as many as 41 goals in total. Since that time, none of our players have come close to matching that achievement.

In the current campaign, the situation is likely to be similar, as after fifteen matches played so far we have only two players who can boast ten or more goals. These are Mikołaj Głodek, who has scored 12 goals, and Maksymilian Dębowski with ten goals. The league’s top scorer is Patryk Klimek from Pogoń II Siedlce, who has found the net 20 times so far. Second place belongs to Piotr Czajka from Płomień Dębe Wielkie with 17 goals, while third place is held by Damian Kulik from Zryw Sobolew with 14 goals.

In the past round, a total of nine players from our team managed to get on the scoresheet:

Let us now take a look at how our team’s goals were distributed over the course of matches. The chart below shows five-minute intervals and the number of goals scored in each of them. As can be seen, we most often found the net at the beginning and at the end of both the first and second halves. There are also four time intervals in which we failed to score any goals.

We already know how our players’ scoring efficiency was distributed throughout the autumn round matches. Now let us look at how our opponents performed in the first fifteen matches of the current season. There is only one time interval in which we did not concede a goal (minutes 76–80). In all other intervals, we conceded goals, with the highest average coming at the end of the first half.

Now let us check what the above-mentioned statistics (goals scored and conceded) look like when presented together on one chart:

Next, let us see how our team compares to the other league sides in terms of goals scored and conceded. In fifteen matches played, Sęp scored a total of 35 goals, which gives an average of 2.33 goals per match. The highest average belongs to Pogoń II Siedlce, whose players scored an average of 3.80 goals per match (57 goals), while the lowest average was recorded by Hutnik Huta Czechy – 0.93 (14 goals).

During the autumn round, Sęp conceded a total of 38 goals (three more than we scored), which gives an average of 2.53 goals conceded per match. The strongest defensive team was Wektra Zbuczyn, which has conceded only 15 goals so far, averaging 1.00 goal per match. At the other end of the scale is Hutnik Huta Czechy, which has conceded as many as 86 goals, resulting in an average of 5.73 goals conceded per match.

Comparing both of the above rankings, it is clear that our team sits roughly in the middle of the league when it comes to average goals scored and conceded. Pogoń II Siedlce and Wektra Zbuczyn perform the best in this respect, while Hutnik Huta Czechy fares the worst.

Will the spring round bring significant changes to the statistics presented above? Time will tell. Hopefully, our team will be able to improve its defensive play, which should translate into fewer goals conceded and, in turn, more positive results and a higher position in the league table. We also hope that both Mikołaj Głodek and Maksymilian Dębowski will continue scoring goals and surpass the twenty-goal mark by the end of the season 🙂
