"Doubles" and "Quads" Competed in the Volleyball Tournament in Garwolin

Marcin Sągol

Yesterday, our female volleyball players, along with coach Łukasz Bogusz participated in a tournament organized by UKS 2 Garwolin. Sęp Żelechów fielded two teams in both the "doubles" and "quads" categories and once again boasted the girls' successes.

The number 1 "doubles" team, consisting of Nikola Rodak and Basia Jurzysta, performed very well. The girls confidently progressed through the group stage and then secured victories in the semifinals and finals, proving they are in great form.

The second "doubles" team, featuring Lena Malitka, Ala Jaskulska, and Zuzia Polak, also did well in the group stage. Unfortunately, they did not win their semifinal match to advance to the final. Nevertheless, the girls bravely fought in the match for third place and managed to win it. Congratulations.

It's worth noting that the second place in the tournament went to another pair of Sęp's players, namely Agata Rybicka and Zuzia Guzowska, who this time represented their home club KS Snajper Sośninka.

The "quads" teams, unfortunately, did not perform as well yesterday, but it is important to note that the opportunity to debut was given to girls who usually play in "triples," namely Nikola Bogusz, Maja Ciołek, and Ola Jaworska.

We thank all the girls for their effort and wish them success in upcoming tournaments :)
