Loss 1:3 to Orlęta Raszyn in the II Mazovian Cadet League 2024/25

The beginning of the first set saw slightly more effective play from the Raszyn team, who took a 5:4 lead. In the following minutes, our players gained the upper hand, pulling ahead to 7:5. The score remained close until nearly halfway through the set (10:10, 14:14), as both teams traded points. Unfortunately, at one point, we allowed our opponents to break away with a 3-point lead, which they maintained until the end of the set, which concluded 22:25.

In the second set, we found ourselves trailing Orlęta for quite some time. We started at 2:4 behind, then 8:10 and 12:14. The competition was intense, with many extended rallies. Finally, our players pulled ahead 17:14 after four strong serves by Amelia Kaczor. However, this lead soon narrowed, and our opponents caught up at 21:21, even taking a one-point lead. The set was ultimately decided by extra points, with Żelechów coming out on top. Marta Kozłowska secured the 26:24 win with a decisive attack.

The third set once again began with Raszyn taking the lead, but after a few good plays, we managed to tie the score at 11:11. Unfortunately, our play faltered later on, allowing our opponents to extend their lead and win the set 25:13.

The fourth set followed a similar pattern, with the visitors dictating the pace. From a score of 6:7, it quickly became 6:12, then 8:15 and 12:24, ultimately ending at 16:25.

Our players performed very well in the first two sets, proving they can compete closely with the league leaders. Despite the weaker final two sets, it’s clear that the team has strong potential. Thank you for the match on Tuesday, and we wish you success in the upcoming games! :)
