Cadets Defeat Saska Warszawa 3–1 in the Play-off Stage of the II Regional Cadet League 2025/26

The opening set of today’s match did not go our way. From the very beginning we had to chase our opponents, who built an advantage of 3:6 and later 9:11. Our players, however, gradually reduced the deficit and at one point levelled the score at 18:18. After two successful plays in a row, we took the lead at 20:18. Unfortunately, the team from Warsaw managed to equalise at 22:22, then pull ahead and secure the first set 22:25.

The second set also began with a small deficit (2:4), but the girls quickly made up the difference and took the lead at 8:4. In the following minutes, the players from Żelechów steadily increased their advantage over the Warsaw side, leading 14:9 and 20:12, before eventually winning the set 25:18.

The third set belonged to Sęp from the very first minutes. We started with a 6:3 lead, which was then extended to 14:4. Time-outs called by the visiting coach brought no effect, and our team confidently won the set 25:12.

The fourth set was already a formality. The team coached by Łukasz Bogusz proved that they were clearly the better side on the day. Excellent serving by Kinga Włodarczyk allowed us to take an early 5:0 lead, which was later increased to 12:7, then to 19:14 and 22:19. In the end, we won the fourth set 25:19 and the entire match 3:1.
